Lady Shadae Pierce, affectionately known as Lady Dae, was raised in Southfield, Michigan. She is the mother of four beautiful children. She has been a steadfast and dedicated worker within her church, home, and community, carrying a heart for service. Shadae was previously a member at St. John the Great Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan, where she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and faithfully served in several ministries, including the choir and as President of the Young Adult Ministry. She is the proud wife of Pastor K. C. Pierce II, Senior Pastor of Hopewell Church in Detroit, Michigan. Lady Shadae Pierce serves as the Lead for the Women’s Ministry at Hopewell Church and also serves as the 1st Assistant to the Director of the Daughters of Promise for the Full Gospel State of Michigan. Professionally, Shadae Pierce is a full-time employee with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, serving in the Homeless Department as a social worker. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Family Community Services from Michigan State University and later obtained her Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University. With over 14 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Shadae’s work focuses on interpersonal practice and holistic care. In 2022, she founded Healing Matters Counseling Services, PLLC, a virtual therapy practice where she serves as owner and clinician. Her practice specializes in supporting adults through depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, and personal growth. In her spare time, Shadae enjoys reading, writing, crocheting, and spending quality time with family and friends. Above all, she is passionate about promoting healing, fostering connection, and uplifting others toward wholeness and purpose.
