Hopewell Community Development Corporation (Hopewell CDC) was founded by Pastor K.C. Pierce II. Hopewell CDC exists to strengthen individuals, families, and neighborhoods by connecting people to resources, opportunities, advocacy, and support. Through outreach, strategic partnerships, and sustainable programs, we are working to create lasting change and generational impact.
BACK-TO-SCHOOL BLOCK PARTY
Every year, Hopewell CDC helps prepare more than 300 students for a successful school year through our annual Back-to-School Block Party. Students and families receive backpacks, school supplies, community resources, family support, food, activities, and an opportunity to celebrate the beginning of a new school year together.
Our goal is simple: help every child walk into school prepared, encouraged, and confident.
COMMUNITY BABY SHOWER
Our annual Community Baby Shower supports more than 200 new and expecting mothers and families by providing essential items including:
Car seats • Diapers • Baby wipes • Clothing • Bottles • Feeding supplies • Blankets • Toiletries • Diaper bags • Baby care essentials and more.
Beyond providing essential items, we connect families with resources and support to help them begin this new chapter with confidence.
BEYOND 4 WALLS — SOCIAL JUSTICE & ADVOCACY
Our Beyond 4 Walls ministry takes our commitment to justice beyond the church building and into the community. We advocate for equity, access to resources, civic engagement, safer neighborhoods, and the dignity of underserved families while empowering residents to make their voices heard.
BUILDING PATHWAYS TO A BETTER FUTURE
Our work extends throughout the year through workforce development, family support services, youth enrichment, educational advancement, neighborhood engagement, community outreach, advocacy, and strategic partnerships.
